Tender documents for the above work can be had from the office of Chief Engineer, Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: CAT, Indore-452013 on written request on any working day between 10.00 hrs. and 16.00 hrs. from 05.09.2005 to 26.09.2005 on production of (a) proof of registration in appropriate class of contractors (b) bank solvency certificate (c) latest income Tax clearance certificate (d) List with evidence of similar works in hand and completed in last five years (e) performance certificate (f) list of construction plant and machinery (g) list of staff they possess (h) staff police verification data. After examining these documents, blank tender forms shall be issued only to the firm prima-facie found competent to carry out the tendered job. Sale of Tender/opening of Tender does not imply acceptance/approval. A set of drawings as indicated in Section -III will also be issued to the tenderers. It will be obligatory on all tenderers to return the tender drawings at the time of opening the tenders. Tender documents shall not be issued by post. For purchase or submission of tender documents, Contractor or his authorized representative shall bring Identity card such as PAN Card or Driving License issued by Competent Govt. Officer or Photo Identity card issued by Election Commission.

Only such contractor shall be eligible for issue of tender documents whose annual turnover of last three years ending 31st March, is not less than 30% of estimated cost of work and who have satisfactorily completed three similar works costing not less than 40% of estimated cost or two similar works costing not less than 50% of estimated cost or one similar work costing not less than 80% of estimated cost. The similar work would mean Internal electrical works in lab areas such as concealed conducting, wiring, electrical fittings, network cabling & power points etc.

Tenders will be received only in the Office of the Chief Engineer,Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: CAT, Indore - 452 013 M.P. up to 1500 hrs. on 28.09.2005 and will be opened on the same day at 1530 hrs. in the presence of the attending tenderers.

Earnest money deposit in the form as stipulated in the tender documents should be enclosed along with the tender in a separate sealed envelope.

(i) ) The earnest money mentioned above shall be submitted in the form of Fixed deposit receipt/Deposit call receipt/Crossed demand draft of a Scheduled Bank guaranteed by the Reserve Bank of India, in favor of Pay and Accounts Officer, Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: CAT, Indore 452 013 (MP).
Cheques & Bank guarantees for earnest money deposit will not be accepted.

(ii) In the case of contractors in the approved list of PWDs. , CPWD., or MES, evidence showing the appropriate and eligible class to which they belong.

Chief Engineer, Centre for Advanced Technology (CAT), Indore 452 013, reserves the right to reject any or all tenders or to allot part of the works to different agencies without assigning any reason whatsoever.
