Indus-2 is currently one of the most important projects in progress at RRCAT. This is a synchrotron radiation source of nominal electron energy of 2.5 GeV and a critical wavelength of about 4 angstroms.

Commissioning and regular operation

Trials to inject & store the electron beam in Indus-2 started in August 2005 for the requirement of beam line users.
