Supports in Indus-2

The supports for BM chambers were designed, fabricated and assembled in position. The support near the beam position indicator is a fixed type which allows all X,Y and Z motion and can be locked. The support in the centre is of cantilever type which prevents radial motion and allows only X motion. The support at the other end (entry) is of roller type which is free to allow the chamber expansion while baking.
