Sector Valve Controller (SVC)

 INDUS-2 has been divided into 8 vacuum sectors, for the ease of evacuation whenever some parts need venting, for modifications or maintenance. These sectors are isolated from each other by pneumatic, all-metal, sector valves. 
For controlling these valves, SVC is designed. In order to assure safe operation of the vacuum system, interlocks are provided with the vacuum gauges in the ring and also with the pneumatic pressure needed for operation of the valve.
10 sector valves are used in INDUS-2 ring and 4, in TL-3. All valves will be controlled by using 14 SVC-s.
The on/off controls of the valves depend on:
1. Pneumatic pressure.
2. The pressure setting (of the vacuum chamber) on both sides of the valve (signals taken from the corresponding BA Gauges).

Controllers can be operated in remote or local mode.
