Beam Diagnostics Section Studies and Development efforts have been initiated in the following areas. Upgradation of diagnostics systems of Indus-1 and Indus-2 to achieve better performance. New diagnostic techniques such as OTR, Diffraction radiation. Use of artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks in beam diagnostics. Application of digital signal processor based instrumentation in beam diagnostics.
