A compact, portable Laser Fluorimeter has been developed for measurement of uranyl salt concentrations in ground water. The system can also be used for effluent monitoring and environmental survey applications. It works on the principle of detection of fluorescence of uranyl complex formed by the addition of an inorganic reagent. By this technique uranium concentration down to 0.1 ppb can be measured. The excitation source used is a compact sealed off nitrogen laser developed in-house.
Specifications:
Detection Limit : 0.1ppb
Range : 20ppb
Excitation source : sealed-off nitrogen laser
Size : 18cm x 10cm x 8cm.
Power : 12 V DC
