An LCW Plant was setup for IMA for
testing different accelerators like DC Accelerator, Radio Therapeutic Machine
etc. Table-II gives its parameters. This is a stand-alone plant with an LCW
make-up from Indus-1 LCW Plant. This was setup in 2000 and is continuously
operational since then.
Another plant was setup for MDL for testing and calibration of magnets for Indus-2. At present, make-up water is being carried from Indus-2 LCW Plant. An effort to provide make-up water through underground pipes is underway. This was setup in 1999 and is operational since then on regular basis.
Operation of both these plants is in the scope of respective user groups where as accidental maintenance and preventive maintenances were taken care of CSL.
