Workshop also have machine maintenance group which provides support from the initial installation to safe & smooth running of machines with minimum down time. In workshop there are various types of machines in operation as described earlier on this web page. The total numbers of machines are more than 50.
Apart from the above stated machines there are four EOT cranes and few numbers of screw and reciprocating type air compressors with driers in constant operation to supply quality dry air in five different buildings of workshop.
Mechanical & electrical preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, condition based maintenance, periodical leveling, geometrical and alignment test of machine tool and equipments, inventory of spares & consumables are also carried out by this group. |
