Accelerator components Design and fabrication Section is catering the need of the “state of art technology” for manufacturing components and assemblies for the various programmes of RRCAT. This mainly includes precision and complicated machining, fabrication by welding and vacuum brazing. Precision metrological measurement is also an important activity of the precision manufacturing.
ACD&F Section has all basic and advanced equipments required for fabrication of UHV compatible components. Various facilities available are as follows;
