Development of coil winding machine for QP/SP magnet coils

Salient features: Main motor H.P: 2, Winding speed: 1 – 5 rpm, auto taping head & pitch adjustment. To wind large number of  magnet coils in a continuous process, a semi automatic coil-winding machine with a variable speed motorized winding head with layer pitch adjustment, stepped mandrels/plain mandrels to act as coil formers for QP/SP magnet coils, automatic insulation taping head, conductor straightening and tensioning unit, and a de-realer unit has been developed. The above photographs shows the Semi-automatic coil winding machine, wound magnet coils, vacuum epoxy resin impregnation plant and vacuum epoxy resin encapsulated magnet coils.
